Product Details
+Grand Seiko is the darling of contemporary watch collectors today, and after taking even a cursory glance at their watches’ specs — or better yet, an example in the metal — it’s easy to see why.
The artisanal talent that goes into the design and manufacturing process of GS dials alone is stupefying. Depending on the angle, the color and composition of a textured dial will look completely different. They’re truly works of art steeped in Japanese tradition!
This particular GS, a Reference SBGR087 from circa the 2010s, is a fine example of the company’s dedication to detail. Housed in a slightly smaller that you may have become accustomed to with GS — 37mm stainless steel case with holey lugs, it features a stunning textured white dial with applied baton indices, a matching dauphine handset with a blued steel seconds hand, and a date window at 3:00. Flipping the watch over reveals a sapphire exhibition caseback displaying Grand Seiko's Calibre 9S65 automatic-winding movement ticking away within, while a signed, black alligator leather strap with a signed steel deployant clasp makes for a comfortable wearing experience.
In excellent condition, this piece comes with all of its factory goodies.
But don’t take our word for it — these have to be seen to be believed!
